Senior Music Recital

Senior High Notes 1st March 2024

On Wednesday evening I was delighted to attend our Senior Spring Music Recital. The evening was an absolute delight, showcasing the exceptional musical talents of our Year 13 A level students and House Music winners. Their performances were nothing short of spectacular, demonstrating not only their technical prowess but also their profound dedication and passion for music. From captivating melodies to intricate harmonies, each piece presented was a testament to the immense talent of our students. It was truly a privilege to witness such musical virtuosity on display.
It was a pleasure to welcome Year 9 students and their parents last night to our GCSE options evening. This pivotal event marks a significant milestone in a student’s academic journey, providing them with the opportunity to make informed decisions about their future pathways and areas of study. It is a crucial step in their academic career, guiding them towards the subjects that align with their interests and aspirations. Beyond the options evening our tutors, subject teachers, and Heads of Year continue to offer invaluable guidance and assistance to our students as they navigate this important decision-making process.
This half term we are launching our Safeguarding Corner podcast called In2. It will feature two minutes of discussion on key topics from our Safeguarding Team. Alongside the Podcast we will be providing links for parents to find additional information and sources of help on each topic. I do hope you find the podcasts useful.
