Thursday evening saw our first Primary Tea Time Concert of the year, and what a joyful occasion it was. These concerts are always a wonderful opportunity for our young musicians to perform in front of an appreciative audience, sharing their talent and hard work. For many, this was their very first performance in front of an audience. Music is such a vibrant part of life in Primary, and these occasions remind us of the joy that performance can bring to both performers and listeners alike.

This week has also given me a chance to reflect on our fabulous Year 6. I have been so impressed with them this term; they have been outstanding role models across the Primary School. Each year, there are a number of opportunities for Year 6 to take on positions of responsibility and leadership. Yesterday we announced our School Captains and Deputy Captains, who will hold their positions for the whole year, and I know they will carry out their roles with great pride and commitment. In addition, we have termly roles such as House Captains, librarians, and other prefect roles, which allow even more pupils to step forward and contribute to the life of the school.
