What a truly magical evening we shared at the Primary Christmas Concert on Tuesday. The children shone brightly, captivating the audience with their confidence, enthusiasm, and sheer joy in performing. From the youngest voices to the more seasoned performers, their hard work and preparation were evident in every note and word. It is always such a delight to witness their talents blossoming, and the warmth of support from parents and families made the evening even more special. Thank you for being part of such a memorable event.

As we approach the end of term, we are very much looking forward to our Christmas Carol Service at Derby Cathedral on Monday evening. This is a highlight of the festive season, and it will be wonderful to welcome so many of you to join us. Our Primary choirs have been rehearsing beautifully, and we can’t wait to hear their voices resonate through the cathedral, adding to the magic of this special occasion.

We are also looking forward to the EYFS Nativity on Wednesday morning. It is always such a heart-warming moment to see our youngest children take to the stage, sharing the Christmas story with their unique charm and enthusiasm. We are delighted to welcome parents and families of EYFS children beforehand for breakfast in the refectory – a wonderful way to begin what promises to be a truly memorable morning.

On Thursday, the whole school will come together for Christmas Jumper Day and our much-anticipated Christmas lunch – the very first in our fantastic new refectory! It promises to be a wonderful opportunity to share in the festive spirit as we bring this term to a close.

A reminder that there will be no Primary Extra Time or clubs on Friday 13th December, as we close for the holiday at the end of the school day.
