Primary High Notes 17th January 2025

This week has been full of exciting firsts for our Primary children, showcasing their enthusiasm for learning new skills and embracing new opportunities.

Our youngest pupils in Wrens and Reception experienced the joy of riding as Cycle Derby paid us a visit, bringing along balance and pedal bikes. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they took their first steps—or pedals—towards mastering this important life skill. The delight on their faces was matched only by their determination to keep trying, even when the wobbles set in!

Meanwhile, our Year 5 and 6 pupils stepped onto the courts for their first sports fixture of the year, competing against The Elms. The teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship they displayed was fantastic to see, and they represented our school with pride.

Whether it is learning to ride a bike or playing in a competitive match, these firsts are important milestones that encourage growth, build confidence, and create lasting memories. It is a joy to watch our children embrace them with such positivity.
