Derby High School is delighted to announce the biennial careers fair will be held on Tuesday 14th March 2023, 5:30pm to 7pm in the Senior Hall.
The Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) at our school forms an important part of the PSHE and tutor programmes. Provided to all students in Years 7 to 13, Derby High is proud to be fully compliant with the eight Gatsby benchmarks, which define world-class career guidance.
With a number of organisations already lined up from many different sectors, the event promises to be an excellent opportunity for students to explore a wide range of career pathways and to meet representatives from a variety of industries and higher education organisations.
Derby High School would like to invite orgainsations to exhibit at the Careers Fair. Exhibition space is complimentary to any organisation wishing to exhibit (space permitting, please make contact as soon as possible).
Carole Riley, Head of Careers said, “we are always so impressed with the fantastic turn out at our careers fair. Our students are eager to learn about the opportunities available to them and go on to many different sectors. Last year alone we had leavers going into a range of areas such as medicine, law, architecture, languages, engineering, maths, chemistry and psychology. We would be delighted to offer space to our local community to exhibit and help us showcase the vast and vibrant opportunities available”.
