Primary High Notes 5th June 2026

The final half term of the school year always feels a little different. There is excitement about all that
is still to come, but there is also a chance to pause and realise just how far our children have
travelled since September.
Sometimes the biggest changes are the ones we hardly notice at the time. A child who was nervous
about speaking in assembly now stands confidently in front of an audience. A reluctant reader
discovers a favourite book. New friendships are formed, challenges are overcome, and confidence
quietly grows, day by day.
Whilst there is still plenty of learning to do in the classroom, the weeks ahead also bring many of the
events that children remember for years to come. Sports Day, concerts, performances, visits and
celebrations all help to create those shared memories that make school such a special place. We are
very much looking forward to welcoming families into school to share these moments with us.
As we enter these final weeks, I hope our children continue to approach each day with the same
curiosity, kindness and enthusiasm that they have shown throughout the year. There is still so much
to enjoy and so much to celebrate.
