As we move through a busy and vibrant part of the term, it has been wonderful to see so many opportunities for our pupils to share their talents, creativity and hard work with the wider school community.

It was a real pleasure to attend the Music Recital last night, which brought together many of the winners from last week’s House Music competition. What a reminder it was of the extraordinary talent we have in our Senior School. From confident soloists to beautifully nuanced performances, the evening showcased not only musical skill but also courage, discipline and creativity. Performing takes a particular kind of bravery, stepping forward, sharing something personal, and trusting the hours of practice that lie behind a polished performance. Our pupils did this with grace and poise, and it was a joy to see the audience respond so warmly. Moments like these remind us that music is not just about technical excellence; it is about expression, connection and the confidence to let your voice be heard.
